Candy Cones is an original photo taken by Vichelle Mixon. I have a thing for construction sites and equipment. There are lots of fun photos hidden in among the stacks and piles of a construction site. These beauties caught my eye. Most of the photos taken for the Archi-thread collection were taken between 2022-2024 for my course work at University of Colorado, School of Architecture in Denver, Colorado. The elements of this bag are inspired interpretations of what I have learned thus far. Musings sparked by new subject matter, from pattern maker/handbag designer to aspiring architect the pursuit of artistic expression continues. I’ve had to draw a lot of lines and take a lot of pictures which felt like they deserved new life as inspiration for Marrakech Eclectic. A blending of skills mastered during the 15+ years designing/producing my first line Ichi-V Handbags and the amazing new skills learned during my time pursuing a BS in Architecture at University of Colorado, Denver. The result this new collection, Archi-thread by Meraki Eclectic, Winter 2024/2025.
